Ivy Cloister

In the serene and secluded Ivy Cloister lives a monastic order that has spent centuries rebuilding the ancient ruins and nurturing lost souls.

Among them is a child, a teenager raised and sheltered by the compassionate monks. A secret rule looms — should anyone ever leave the sanctuary, they may never return.

• Brother Maseh - A harsh man, adhering strictly to the order's rules. He is skeptical of the child's potential and challenges them to prove their worth.
• Brother Abajin - A senior member known for his wisdom and compassion. He serves as a mentor to the child and offers guidance when needed.
• Brother Edon - A simple-hearted disciple, filled with love and mourning. He has a deep connection with the child, quietly observing them from a distance.

The members of the order hold themselves to high standards and admonish each other for their failings. The child is exempt from such scrutiny, allowed to grow and explore til the day comes for a life-altering decision: join the order’s ranks, or set out into the world. As the child becomes of age, conflicting emotions and hidden agendas bring tension. No matter the child’s decision, a massacre will leave the child as the cloister’s sole survivor. If they stayed for the day in question, they are captured and sold into slavery, forcing them to confront the harsh realities outside Ivy Cloister. If they left before, they discover the aftermath later.

Separated from their previous life, will the child hold onto the teachings of the monastic order, or abandon their former beliefs? Regardless, they are entangled in the fallout, as rival factions vie for control of the abandoned Ivy Cloister. Hidden secrets shroud Ivy Cloister and the child's past. The ruins hold artifacts and knowledge that could change the course of history. Hidden passages and ancient texts point to a greater purpose, a long-lost prophecy, foretelling a cataclysmic event. An organization known as Obsidian seeks to erase the old order’s presence.
